- The proxy can't mask a provider's or MCP server's WebSocket frames, and your organization blocks rather than send unmasked data.
- How to fix it
- Open OpenAI Realtime sessions through the AI gateway's masked live route (
wss://<gateway>/v1/openai/live), or use the provider's HTTP API through the proxy. - Returned by
- Proxy mode
- Retry
- Retrying the same request fails the same way.
