Privacy Policy

Effective October 7, 2026. This policy covers the maskflare.com website and its free tools. How the Maskflare service handles customers' AI traffic is described in the Trust Center and No-Log Policy, and governed by each customer's agreement with us.

Who this policy covers

This policy is published by Maskflare (“Maskflare,” “we,” “us”). It applies to visitors of maskflare.com, including the free tools under /tools. Data that customers send through the Maskflare service is not covered here: it is governed by the customer's agreement with us, and how we handle it is described in the Trust Center.

What we collect

Information you send us. The Contact page sends the name, email, company, and message you provide directly to our inbox by email, and we send you a short confirmation that it arrived. Submissions aren't stored in a database on our end — they exist as the emails themselves.

Automatic technical data. Like essentially every website, our hosting and content-delivery infrastructure processes standard connection information (IP address, user-agent, timestamps, requested URL) to serve pages and defend against abuse.

Analytics, with your consent. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns — pages visited, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type. It does not load until you accept the cookie banner shown on your first visit, and you can change your choice anytime via “Cookie preferences” in the footer. We don't use analytics data for advertising, and we don't sell it to anyone.

The PII Prompt Checker. Text you paste into this tool is checked entirely in your browser. It is not sent to our servers or to any third party, and it is gone when you leave the page.

How we use it

To respond to enquiries sent through the Contact page or to hello@maskflare.com.
To operate, secure, and troubleshoot this website and its free tools.
With your consent, to understand aggregate, non-invasive traffic patterns through Google Analytics.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

We share data only with infrastructure providers (hosting, email, DNS) strictly as needed to run this site, under their own data-processing terms, and when required by law. If you've accepted analytics, aggregate usage data also goes to Google (Google Analytics), which processes it under Google's own terms. We do not otherwise disclose personal data to third parties.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are kept as long as needed to respond and maintain a record of the conversation. Infrastructure-level connection logs are retained only as long as our hosting provider's default operational window requires. Text checked with the PII Prompt Checker never leaves your browser, so there is nothing to retain or delete. Google Analytics data, when you've consented to it, is retained for 14 months.

Your rights

Wherever you're located, you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@maskflare.com and we'll respond directly. This is a description of how we handle requests today, not a claim of certification under any specific regulatory framework.

Children

This site is intended for a business audience and is not directed at children.

Changes to this policy

If how we collect or use data through this website changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
