Ad Verification & Brand Protection

See Your Ads and Your Brand the Way the Public Sees Them

Verifying an ad placement or catching a brand-impersonating site both require seeing the internet from an outside vantage point — but a corporate IP is often identifiable enough that ad platforms and impersonating sites serve it something different from what the public sees.

Why the usual approach falls short

Monitoring from a recognizable corporate IP risks being served a sanitized version of an ad, or missing a geo-targeted impersonation aimed at a different market entirely.

The MaskFlare approach

Cloak's masked, city-level-selectable exit network shows what a real visitor in a given market actually sees, for both ad verification and brand monitoring.

Benefits

See ads as the public sees them

Verify creative and placement from a masked vantage point, not a recognizable office IP.

Catch geo-targeted impersonation

Monitor brand impersonation the way it actually appears in a specific market.

No corporate-IP bias in monitoring

Results reflect what a real visitor sees, not a version served to a known corporate address.

Frequently asked questions

Can I check how an ad appears in a specific country or city?

Yes — Cloak's exit network supports selection down to the city level where available.

How would a platform or impersonating site know to serve us something different?

A known corporate IP range can be recognized and served a sanitized version, or missed entirely for a geo-targeted impersonation aimed at a different market — monitoring from a masked, city-selectable exit avoids both.

Does this mask device and browser fingerprint as well as the IP?

Yes — Cloak's fingerprint masking extends to device and browser signals as well, so monitoring traffic isn't identifiable by fingerprint even from a masked IP.

Can this run on a schedule for ongoing monitoring, or only as a manual check?

Cloak's REST API and SDKs support scripted, repeated checks, so ongoing brand monitoring can run on a schedule rather than as one-off manual lookups.
