What Is Browser Isolation?

Browser isolation executes web page content away from a user's actual device — in the cloud or another isolated environment — so only a safe rendering of the page reaches the endpoint, rather than the page's underlying code.

It's a response to how most breaches that start with a link actually happen: a vulnerability in the browser itself, a malicious download, or a convincing look-alike page that behaves identically to the real thing until it's too late.
