Why MaskFlare Is Designed Around Two Security Problems

Many security platforms concentrate on incoming risk: inspecting requests, detecting abuse, and deciding which activity should be allowed. Those controls matter, but they address only one side of an organization's relationship with the public internet.

Organizations also reveal information as employees research markets, applications contact external services, and browsers expose network and device signals. Those disclosures may enable tracking, blocking, profiling, or unintended transfer of sensitive data even when no conventional attack is taking place.

MaskFlare's product direction connects those two problems. Cloak and Identity are intended to reduce what an organization exposes, Radar is intended to identify unwanted automated traffic, and the remaining modules describe secure-access and data-protection controls we plan to evaluate with early customers.

MaskFlare is still in development. This article explains the architecture we are working toward; it does not mean that every module, integration, or network capability is generally available today.
